Knotts Berry Farm

The fun filled place of Knott's Berry Farm is where the beloved character Peanuts was born and is America's first Theme Park. Knott's Berry Farm originally started off as farm selling berries, homemade preserves and pies gaining a quick momentum in 1950 when the owner Walter Knott opened the 'summer-long fair.' Finally in 1968 they started charging money to get into the park - 25 cents! Knott's Berry Farm operations were sold to Cedar Fair Entertainment Company in 1997 and started adding more thrilling adventures consisting of six themed areas: Ghost Town, Fiesta Village, The Boardwalk, Camp Snoopy, Wild Water Wilderness, and Indian Trails.
